Organization of transnational learning, teaching or training activities, 13-17 May 2019, Florence

The COMPe4Mi Project (Tools for professionals to assess and develop migrants’ competences) is co-funded by the European Commission under Erasmus + Programme – KA2 Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices – Strategic Partnership for Adult Education. The project started on 1st October 2017 with a total duration of 24 months. The project aims to strengthen the multicultural education among professionals working with migrants, while enhancing skills and competences of migrants for their real integration in the labour market and society life. The project puts in the front line the education of adult immigrants’ learners. Adult education is crucial for development of employability and related skills among the local population and refugees.

The aim of this short-term intensive course is to train and prepare the partners’ staff (train the trainers) so as to be able to inform the target group during the pilot testing (IO2 and IO3) and the multiplier events as regards to the Compe4Mi material and the use of the Compe4Mi E-learning Platform (IO2), explain the technical specifications, present ways on how to deliver the material in order to generate more traffic to the E-learning Platform.

The added value of this activity is to demonstrate the importance of the training material in facilitating the work undertaken by professionals, while having the opportunity to interact in a multi-national environment, exchanging ideas and experiences on this issue.

Moreover, this mobility supports a multidisciplinary approach through which partner organization staff are experts in their countries dealing with dealing with migrants (adult educators, trainers, professional staff, training providers, migrants training centres, NGO officers, and enterprises) coming from different educational and social backgrounds meet in a joint course focusing on the same topic. Similarly, the partners' staff will contribute to the discussions via their experiences, thus bringing together feedback from different regions of the European Union in one learning activity with a common objective.
